VERDICT! The lack of exercise is definitely beginning to show - I feel I’m still losing weight, but hate feeling less toned.

Exercise: Nothing

VERDICT! I messed up my protein only day because I got taken out for dinner. It was worth it and it wasn’t even unhealthy.

Saturday

2 scrambled eggs with smoked mackerel

1/3 pot of cottage cheese

2 chicken thighs, 1 burger and salad

slice of Dukan lemon cheesecake

3 G&Ts

3 sambuca shots

Exercise: Was dying to do some, but didn’t.

VERDICT! There was a party, there was cake. I stuck to my diet. Which means I’m allowed the mistake that happened Sunday…

Sunday

1 small oat bran galette with 2 scrambled eggs and smoked mackerel

1 small oat bran galette

Chinese food: 2 duck pancakes, seaweed, 4 deep-fried prawns, 2 prawn toasts, 3 bits of chicken. 

1 chicken thigh

2 glasses white wine

Exercise: yeah, err, none.

VERDICT! The chinese food is probably the worst I’ve been. It sounds like a lot, written out as a list, but really it was a small portion. Wish my cheat had been some cake instead. I want some cake!

Overall, Week 4 was not a good show. Would love to kick off Week 5 with a day to be proud of. Can’t believe its WEEK 5!!!!

VERDICT! I’m not overly dissatisfied with today, although I really felt like going for a run, but spent too long shopping. I got new grey Converse and a belt, if anyone’s interested :) xx

Exercise: well, errrrr… oh yeah! I ran :) 4.8km (road)

VERDICT! What can one say, it was a friday night. I don’t think the quantity of food was very high though, which probably explains why I was so much more gone than Holly. UREKA! 

Saturday

2 fried eggs, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and a… FRIED SLICE —> CARBICIDE HANGOVER ALERT!! Thank you Dolly’s Diner <3

I think that somehow that was literally all I ate. But now I’ve woken up at 6am Sunday morning and I’m starving!

Exercise: hahahahahaha

VERDICT! What a non-day. Exactly how I wanted it to be :)

Hard to remember exactly… I think it went something like this:

Oat bran porridge

a baklava

roast chicken breast with stuffing

I got high and I ate… ~ 6 chicken nuggets; doritos (my favourite, lightly salted oops!); an omelette! 

Exercise: None, again…

VERDICT! The doritos were naughty but so proud I made an omelette to cope with my munchies. Granted this was because there was literally nothing else in the house.

Saturday

3 amaretti 

Exercise: minimal.

VERDICT! I was out and managed to not eat pizza/chips/fried chicken, all of which were readily available. The amaretti were my 5am reward.

Sunday

Full English: 1 slice toast, 1 fried egg, sausage, bacon, beans, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato.

Vanilla milkshake

cod in batter and mushy peas.

Exercise: None

VERDICT! Am I still on Dukan?? Great weekend though.

Exercise: You guessed it, not a sausage.

VERDICT! I was lazy today, I should have worked out. My eating seems to be growing to a more normal pattern and amount of food.

VERDICT! I messed up. I should have just said non.

Thursday

Exercise: I walked (shopped)

VERDICT! A much better day than the one before. Amazingly, I felt my body thanking me.

Friday

1 small galette with 2 scrambled eggs and spinach (I steamed the spinach in the microwave and seasoned with salt, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg, which made it very tasty.)

1 pot of low fat cottage cheese with a stick of celery

1 chicken breast with spinach salad

4 delicious fruity vodka based cocktails from Zen Sai bar in Camden. I had watermelon and cumber martinis and a pornstar martini. Yum.

1/4 chicken from Nandos <3

Exercise: None

VERDICT! A good eating day, not so good drinking day, but they were almost healthy! ;)

And again… week 12, am I in some kind of time warp?

Skiing in France happened. Christmas happened. I blame France. Potatoes, cheese, bread, butter - at every meal and in-between meals. I got podgy again, just in time for New Year, yay! Now the last sausage roll has been taken and the last mince pie eaten (both thanks to Aunt Reet), there really are no Christmas related excuses left, at least until I find some in the fridge when hungover on New Years Day ;)

Why not start a food blog again, Q: what’s to lose? A: Hopefully a stone.
