Week 8 - time is flying

Monday

1 small oat bran galette with 2 scrambled eggs and smoked mackerel

1 chocolate oat bran muffin (My recent saviours. Will give you my revised version.)

chicken drumstick and a bit of breast (roast chicken leftovers)

1 pot of low fat cottage cheese

3 chicken thighs in Nandos marinade - yum 

Exercise: yeah, I didn’t

VERDICT! Today I was craving… VEG! Never thought I’d see the day when I could honestly write that, but here we are. My brother’s broccoli and cabbage looked really tasty. I should have gone for a run, I didn’t not feel like it.

Wednesday

2 scrambled eggs with 1 small galette and smoked mackerel

3 chicken thighs

1 small galette

Fat free vanilla and chocolate fro-yo from Yoo Moo

1 chicken thigh

1 tin of tuna with balsamic vinegar

skimmed hot choc with a dash of brandy <— highlight of the day, along with a phone call to Holly. My current life is lacking.  

Exercise: Nil

VERDICT! I thought I hadn’t eaten that much today but it looks like I kinda have. Ho-hum, it was all good healthy stuff.

Friday

1 small galette with 2 scrambled eggs and smoked mackerel

1 chicken thigh

1 small galette

a delicious spiced hot chocolate that made me feel like  I was in Chocolat

3 McDonalds chicken selects

3 mojitos, 5 jager shots, 1 G&T

Exercise: well, errrrr… oh yeah! I ran :) 4.8km (road)

VERDICT! What can one say, it was a friday night. I don’t think the quantity of food was very high though, which probably explains why I was so much more gone than Holly. UREKA! 

Saturday

2 fried eggs, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes and a… FRIED SLICE —> CARBICIDE HANGOVER ALERT!! Thank you Dolly’s Diner <3

I think that somehow that was literally all I ate. But now I’ve woken up at 6am Sunday morning and I’m starving!

Exercise: hahahahahaha

VERDICT! What a non-day. Exactly how I wanted it to be :)

oh today… :/ I don’t really want to post this but I’ll be honest

I had another bloody Chinese takeaway again. I didn’t even fancy it. 

Tuesday

2 scrambled eggs with 1 small galette and spinach

pickled herring

2 chicken thighs

1 small galette

Chinese takeaway: 3 prawn balls, chicken with carrots and cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce, chicken with ginger and spring onions, rendang beef. FML.

Exercise: urrrrghhh. 

VERDICT! A poor effort. I could so easily have said no to the takeaway. And then I could so easily have not raided the fridge at midnight for that extra prawn ball. Think I may be addicted to MSG. At least there were no carbs though… yeah, that’s not even consoling.

Thursday

2 chicken thighs

a hot choc

grilled chicken breast with salad (and too much garlic mayo)

2 chicken thighs

a bottle of red wine

Exercise: hahahahahaa

VERDICT! chicken chicken chicken. Too much wine. I eat so much chicken.

I ate a couple of spoonfuls of honey

Exercise: 50 length swim

VERDICT! I had a good swim but perhaps over ate
